The specialty industrial minerals segment includes an array of natural minerals, excluding those that are commodities or are energy related (oil, natural gas, coal, etc.), metals, or forest products.
KaMin is a manufacturer of high quality hydrous and calcined kaolin and its high quality reserves and proprietary processing technologies produce high quality kaolins for a variety of applications. KaMin mines and produces its kaolin exclusively in the US and sells its products to all regions of the world. KaMin operates three kaolin plants in Georgia - Macon, Sandersville and Wrens – and has been recognized not only as a leader in product quality but also in its safe mining practices for many consecutive years. KaMin also owns a majority stake in CADAM SA, a Brazil based kaolin supplier.

Cadam specializes in fine particle size kaolin clays for the paper, packaging, and broad industrial market. Cadam has a subsidiary in Europe with operations in the port of Antwerp, Belgium. Cadam is majority owned by KaMin LLC and operates as a subsidiary of KaMin.
